Laravel Developer – Level I (1–2 Years) | Immediate Joiners and Bengaluru Candidates Only

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly capable Laravel Developer with 12 years of strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining production-grade web applications . This role is suited for developers who can take ownership of backend modules, design APIs independently, and contribute meaningfully to application architecture, performance, and stability. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently located in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Laravel and Core PHP
• Design and implement secure, well-structured RESTful APIs
• Own backend features end-to-end, from database design to deployment support
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with Laravel best practices
• Optimize database performance , queries, and indexing using MySQL
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and production issues
• Collaborate closely with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams
• Participate actively in code reviews , sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Ensure application security, data integrity, and scalability standards are met

Required Skills

• 12 years of solid hands-on experience with Laravel Framework
• Strong expertise in Core PHP and backend development principles
• Deep understanding of MVC architecture and Laravel ecosystem
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong command of MySQL , relational schema design, and query optimization
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for backend integration
• Proficient with Git-based version control workflows
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• Practical understanding of backend security, authentication, authorization, and validation

Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills

• Experience with Laravel Blade, Eloquent ORM, queues, jobs, and middleware
• Exposure to Vue.js / React or modern frontend integration
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based teams
